Chrysanthemums need a cool climate for their best performance. Everything has gone haywire here. I have them all over the garden but have just one colour - purple. I see buds and have to wait patiently for them to bloom.
What you see in the photo are those that we had in our garden once upon a time.
In the meanwhile what better way than just ogling at these Mums that I can see in this link? You too can open the link and have a ball. Happy viewing.
Do you have any of what you see in that link, growing in your garden? Picture please.

They remain dormant just to come up when it is time for them to show up

It happened to me that in my college, our foreign English teacher once tried to feed chrysanthemums to his cute bunny, then all of us tried our best to stop him to do so. hahah, because it's poisonous to animals.

@allknowing haha, at first, he didn't believe us. Then, we suggested that he searched the Internet. Well, finally, he said that it was so fool to feed chrysanthemums to his bunny.

@allknowing It snowed yesterday, the few flowers that were still in bloom are covered with snow and will die, except the Christmas roses that like the snow.

they look like daisies and I don't know what their healing properties are but I'm glad to know they need cool weather to survive better indoors...
