December has always been a festive season. A lot of parties and celebration being thrown by friends and family. It is no wonder why it's hard to save since a part of spending can go to weekend getaway and family occasion. I make it a point to save as much as I can to have something to use during the rainy days. At some point, it may be quiet a challenge.
Truth is, there are people who are good in budgeting and I am just curious on how they do it. Any tricks in making it a success?

Christmas on 25th December is a surprise to some people. It is interesting to see how many people save throughout all the year with a regular saving account. It is possible to save money once a week in January 2019. Then think how much money there will be for Christmas next year. Write a shopping list go food shopping so you don't buy non essentials. It is even better to take advantage of money off for example buy one and get one free. It is wise to have a list of when direct debits come out of your account otherwise you might find out account gets overdrawn. I managed to pay off my mortgage in June 2017. This year I have tried to improve my home with redecorating. We never would have been able to afford to do that when we had mortgage payments. It is awful to put Christmas spending on a credit card and only pay the minimum payment. If a person had debt then try to work out a plan to pay it off.
