I told my kids I wasn't upgrading my iPhone until the current one dies and die it did on Thursday. Well sort of.
I almost got a new one last year when it wouldn't hold a charge but they admitted it was there fault and offered new batteries at a significant reduction. $29.00 bought me a year.
So started again to have issues... when on LTE while I was out it started not being able to load pages. I put up with that for 2 days and decided to upgrade again.
I call it a Christmas present to myself because I upgraded all the way instead of just getting a newer one. It's something I use all day long so I thought it was the most practical to get the Xs Max since I keep them so long. I like the size of the plus and the Max but it's not everyone's cup of tea. But for me, I actually like it quite a bit!
So Merry Christmas to me a few days early.

@Jeanniemaries I'll need a biggish screen too if I ever get a mobile.

It has a bigger screen so I can see everything better, even the text is larger which is good in my old age! Lol!

Yes, I waited a bit longer for the phone because I had a new MacBook Pro and Apple watch. I'm perfectly happy with my older iPad as I rarely use it.

Merry Christmas to you! :) I need a new laptop screen but that will have to wait until tax time.

Yes, normally I would wait to, but the phone wasn't much upfront. Spacing out the payments via Verizon also keeps it interest free,

@Jeanniemaries As much as I love computer, I have no interest in smartphones.

@LadyDuck I didn't either until I had one. My kids are always pushing me to keep up!

After I get all the stuff moved over and relog into all my accounts (when I remember passwords) and learn to do things a new way....then I will enjoy.
