Do you like to watch movies with poignant ending?

I absolutely hate tragedies. I will only go for movies or stories with happy ending. I still wonder why still go to watch tragedies. I many Indian movies, which had tragic ending were very successful. Even the great Shakespeare has written tragedies which were pretty successful.

I like happy endings too. Right now I'm watching Vampire Diaries and then I think I'll watch gossip girl. I like series.
