robotic world and we will be eliminated soon

@DeborahK.Mitchell @DEBJANIBASAK Does that meant we should apply for jobs that listed in the future list when fresh man enter into job market? How about those workers already working in the declining list, they must be getting hurt later. I am going to apply for job probably in accounting field so I am thinking whether it is a good choice after reading this article.

@Acefun That's true! I often did 2 or even 3 jobs when I was working. I am retired now.

learning new thing from a complete different background in a short time and then apply to new job is difficult. [change career path] You need a lot of time and concentration to learn and at the same time perform well at the present duty.

@1hopefulman What are the jobs that your work in? I also want to have some part time job that can sustain me in the long run.

How does the technology affect your work and in the oil and gas industry?

@Acefun there cannot be enough robot supervizing jobs to sustain a whole human population

A small portion of human is still needed to monitor the automation processes. The extra one might be doing other jobs that not relate to their working experience so their pay might get affected as well. If those jobs are not transferable to other company, the workers will be stuck at the same company forever, unless they want to start from the beginning in new company.

Robot can do it too. Like waitress can be replaced by robot to delivery meal, take order, etc.

Does it meant that fresh graduates enter into work force will have stable jobs and higher income for students with IT and/or engineering background compare to business students such as accounting? What should I do?

yes and current job market will have impact too.

@Acefun is it possible that there will be a lot of unemployment if the human labor is replaced by robots?

@leny34 I think that will depend on the company whether they will reduce thw workforce or place them for training and let them work in other department with what they have been trained.

it hard to say whether the current job will be impacted by the changes and how the company are going to treat you at that them.
