Lessons for your child

What lesson would you most like to pass on to your child? I would love for my children to trust Jesus and to love unconditionally. There are so many things that I want them to be (in terms of their character) ... what do you think is important for the next generation to learn?

I too wish for my Children to Love the Lord Jesus and to know Him. That He is very much alive and we can trust Him with our lives. Children need to know that they have a purpose in this life. We need to pray as parent's to see what giftings they may have and for wisdom in raising them.

I certainly need wisdom in raising my children! There are somethings that making a mistake at won't make much difference ... like forgetting to pick up milk from the store ... but raising my children poorly can have huge consequences that I never want to know!

Though Generations would change with the course of time, but i reckon that the basic values will never change Ther first thing that has to be taught to a child is to Love It is the prime and the most basic thing Then it is to respect and to Commit to things!

I agree that the basic lessons in life never change. That loving others is so important - not only for the child, but for others. How do you think we can best teach our children to love?

I am like you. First God and Jesus. Then to love and be compassionate. To be honest and never to judge others. That is what I believe and live my life like.
