The penguin was filling in for one of the elves, right? That's why he was in the picture with santa.

@snowy22315 You're not wrong. I just looked it up. They mainly live in Antarctica, but there is a species of Penguin that lives in the Galapagos Islands and is called the Galapagos Penguin. The waters around the islands are fed by Antarctica, so they are still a southern hemisphere bird even though the Galapagos Islands are around the equator.
