A Merry Day

I had a wonderful Christmas and I hope all those celebrating Christmas had a wonderful day as well. Aaron, my older son, had so much food, it looked like a smorgasbord from a buffet type restaurant. He had ham, turkey, and lamb. Mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, green beans, gravy, fruit salad, pumpkin pie, and cheesecake - the kind that has many flavors in one round cheesecake. I didn't have any dessert, but I didn't leave there hungry. I was stuffed. After they opened presents, it was off to Edgar's, youngest son's for Christmas there. I was treated to homemade eggnog. He didn't have the baklava or cinnamon rolls made yet. However, I helped with the cinnamon rolls before I left by making the dough. According to the recipe, after it is punched down the first time, it can be put in the fridge and made later. So, Thursday when I do laundry, we'll make the cinnamon rolls and also finish watching a movie we started - After Earth with Will and Jadon Smith. I saw the first half hour before I needed to leave. It looks like a very good movie. I also met his girlfriend, a very nice young lady. She learned quickly, I like to hug. I took my daughter's rocks to her yesterday and distributed the other rocks today, and they liked their painted rocks, which made me happy. I didn't have one for Jon, and he asked where his rock was, so I'll be making one for him in the near future. Now, I'm home and waiting to find out if it's going to snow yet tonight or wait until tomorrow. I hope you had a good day. Thanks for reading.
