Got a "get well" card for my birthday

So I get a card from someone for my birthday. Instead of a happy birthday card it turns out to be a "get well" card and inside it the printed text wishes me the best of health... and nowhere does it say "happy birthday" at all. And to make it worse, on the back of the card there is information about a cancer center...
On one hand I was laughing but on the other hand I was sitting there in shock, especially after seeing the back of the card... Why would someone give a card like that to another person (in this case me) on his/her birthday, especially if that person is healthy (which I am)?
Maybe this person had no other cards around at home and didn't just want to put money in an envelope without a card. But she could've went out and bought a card. The right card. I'd rather have received money inside an envelope without a card than have gotten money in a card like this.

I do. Asking the person may put her in a bad spot. That's why I am hesitant to bring it up.

That seems very strange. We received an unsigned Christmas card this year but it is obviously from an old person so we were able to guess who it might have been.

@lovebuglena It was a Christmas card with a message for us but whoever sent it didn't put their name so we don't know who it is from.

What was the card meant for? Was it given for Christmas? Or accidentally given on a different celebration?

Maybe she took the card without reading the text and just signed her name and put it in the envelope... But if that is the case, why would she not read the card before gifting it? And yes, it was a family member.

@Courage7 I doubt she was too busy to read the card... but maybe she was preoccupied with other thoughts at the moment she was getting it ready for me.
