What's for dinner? December 26

What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know!
I'm trying a new recipe from the Comfort In An Instant cookbook--Chicken Cacciatore. I have a good recipe for it already but this is one for the Instant Pot. Tonight is a good night for it because I didn't get home from the gym until 6:30 pm and didn't start cooking until a bit after 7. Dinner should be ready a little after 8. I am going to serve it over egg noodles as suggested by the author.
That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

@lovebuglena I don't know. I've never had them. They are purple and look like they will stain everything.

I have made this many times, but I have my own specific recipe for it. Tonight is baked seasoned pork steaks with a side of buttered corn (unsalted of course), and I took out a chili I had froze a while back which we will maybe pour on top of the steaks.

I don't make it often because my husband doesn't like it. He is out tonight with his friend so I am free to make what I want. I like the recipe in Bobby Flay's Throwdown cookbook. That's the one I usually use. I'm trying this one, though, because it is in my new cookbook for my Instant Pot.
You love your pork steaks. I've never seen them in the store here. There are pork shoulders, pork loins, pork tenderloins, and pork chops but I've never seen pork steaks. I've only ever seen them mentioned in The New Midwestern Cookbook.
