The bottom half of my christmas tree!!

Christmas tree

You'll notice on the picture that the bottom half of the tree has no decorations at all. That's the situation when you have a 16 month old walking toddler at home. She picks up everything at her level and throws it or plays with it. So we left the bottom half empty and positioned or against a sofa so that part is partially hidden! Any other suggestions? Or just enjoy the picture!!

Baby proofing the house including the Christmas Tree is part of living with a toddler around, including puppies.

And that actually adds to the joy of having children or pets.

@pitstop Some praise is due for our earlier pets. We had 3 of them earlier and all of them would just sit next to us watching us work on our tree Preiti picks up balloons and plays with them.

Hopefully this one is stable enough. It has a wide base. But I can imagine her dragging it with all the lights.

People do that if they have cats as well.

That is a common safety precaution.
