My father died when I was 12 years old. My mother didn't marry until after 10 years. She was a government auditor, my stepfather was a guard at a government unit as well.
Fastforward 15 years and he now is in his 70s. He has an aching hipbone and other ailments he is coping with.
Last night they were drinking and bantering about the funny stories related to his trip to Boston, USA in year 2018. I know about this trip but it was now I realized how much of a strong spirit he has. He announced he will be going to Canada this 2019.
His funny story was his interview where the interviewer was speaking English and he barely said 3 words. Good thing my stepbrother stepped in and they made it through the interview.
I am just 39, has a few aches and pains but often give up on life while this man is in 70's follows his dreams and celebrates life.

Yes. I will make him a source of inspiration when I'm feeling defeated.
