Favorite Bud Light Commercials #1 - Hockey Falls

Time to wrap up my countdown of my favorite Bud Light commercials. Bud Light, of course, in my opinion, is really awful, eh, but their commercials are pure hilarity. We are at #1: Hockey Falls. Back in the 90's, Bud Light paid a lot of money to the National Hockey League for the privilege of being "The Official Beer of the NHL." And they developed an entire ad campaign set in the fictional town of Hockey Falls. The commercials revolved around four mullet-sporting (nice touch!,) hockey-obsessed (their obsession makes my own obsession with the sport seem like casual fandom) slackers led by Ray, and often involved verbal sparring between Ray's mom and the guys (in one, the boys are planning an extended road trip in order to watch hockey games, when Ray's mom asks what they are up to. "We're planning a vacation." "A vacation? From WHAT?" The entire series was hilarious, but this is my favorite. Ray is running late while meeting his buddies at the local diner. When he finally arrives, he's proudly wearing a newly acquired old school Boston Bruins jacket, autographed by every member of Boston's 1972 Stanley Cup winning team. Let's just say that, Ray being Ray, it doesn't end well.
