Dancing on the Edge of Naughty

I can write dead serious kinds of articles. I have written articles for a fence company, a funeral home and other serious types of writing. I can do it, but it is not my favorite thing.
I really like dancing on the edge of naughty. Not in a dirty or disgusting way but just a tiny bit provocative, a wee bit suggestive at times. I try never to hurt anyone or insult anyone.
I wonder if that is a wrong way to write. When do you go over the edge?
I would like to hear what you think about that. Is it inappropriate here?

I don't think it's the wrong way to write, and I think that you may be walking a fine line when writing that way here. Not that what you may write is agianst the guidelines per se, but there are some who will report for the slightest infraction.
Even if, and perhaps especially if, the "infraction" is simply a butthurt mylotter.

I never actually describe anything. It is just like the shadow of something. But you are right. I try to watch it and not let it get too far. It is dancing on the edge. I have reported things that were way over and they still stayed there.

I personally don't worry if I get reported because if the post stays withinn the rules admin will leave it alone.
PS...just bought a multi flavour pack of walkers christmas flavours and they're really good

@Mike197602 Had a mylotter sent me a care package. I found a subreddit where you can snack exchange with people .I plan to do that when I have some money to do so with.
I am hoping I can get some of the walker's crisp flavors before they stop manufacturing them.

I do it all the time. What is the point of being here, if you can't have some fun?

@mysdianait Well I haven't been having as much fun since most of my toys have gone missing!

I like discussions that you can interpret in more than one way. On the surface they aren't naughty at all, but if you interpret them in a different way get you get a different impression I saw an example of that recently and the discussion was hilarious. I don't get offended by that kind of discussions, but of course it is a fine line,

@akalinus I also love that type of discussion. Sometimes they start with one topic and end with something completely different. Sometimes I get confused when I look at the title because the topic that we are discussing is very far away from the original topic

@Porcospino Me too, a lot of times, it strays so far from the original subject that I don't know what is going on anymore.

Just do it and see what happens
I've often danced on the edge of naughty and a few times stamped all over the line and been badthat's when admin deletes your post and if you're really bad he'll delete your whole account

There's another member here that I would say might come across as a little naughty, and I think he makes a lot of people laugh. Like the others have said, give it a shot and see what happens. If anyone thinks you've 'gone over the edge' or crossed the line or whatever, hopefully they will let you know. Then you could make some adjustments if needed or use a disclaimer or explanation at the bottom to help non English users know you're not being literal. Or whatever.

I say go for it Jo. You got good instincts and you know where to draw the line. We could use a little sassy around here and personally I love ''colorful' language, it adds spice to all things good.

I would say be adventurous and give it a try. The worse thing that can happen it that it will get deleted but it just may be a hit. You will never know unless you give it a try. I would be interested in reading it.

For my on-line magazine work, those women writers making the bucks submit sexually-related material. I like to keep my writing clean.
