Mixed Emotions

Today started very early for me since I woke up at 430. I did not get back to sleep until about 7 a.m. I then got up around 10 a.m. when my son came in and woke me up. Thinking of busy my week was going to be shot my anxiety through the roof. I then started to feel defeated before I began which is annoying. My hubby who is still healing from his heart attack hurried himself to come with the kids and I to the laundrymat. I love that despite it all he still tries his best to emotionally support me. In what ways do some of you cope with overwhelming emotions?

I am still working on that. I had a heart attack and open heart surgery in June 2017. I big contributor to that was stress. Since then I have been trying not to let myself get overwhelmed. I have to keep reminding myself to stay calm. Going for a walk always helps and I agree deep breathing works great.

We all have to find what works for us. I do deep breathing exercises daily and try to focus on anything positive. Calm and quiet helps me as well.
