black eye

my 2 y/o has a black from playing with his 4 y/o brother..what is the fastest way to make it heal?

I don't know if there's any emperical evidence to support this, but I've used witch hazel to bring bruises to the surface quicker-plus it has a tingly cooling effect that helps relieve the pain of a bruise. Vitamin E (ingested, not topical) helps heal wounds also, so it's worth asking your pharmacist about.

well the black is long gone..lol thanks for posting..i wil have to keep this in mind..im sure with 3 boys im sure this is just 1 of many to come..

make him hit back.so other will get a black eye. now they will loose revenge and sympathy and will be cfrnds again
