Medium rare, grill preferred, will cook inside on a flat grill or George Forman. I want to eat it really hot. Add the salt, pepper and other seasoning after it is done, my husband says it stays more tender. I like "Montreal Steak Seasoning" (coarse salt, black pepper, garlic, dill)

They cook up really nice on the George Forman grills. What I do is to put my ingredients on the outside then put on a thin layer of olive oil. That helps keep the moisture in the steak when cooking and gets the flavor in the meat. It also keeps it more tender.

When I was growing up I would only eat it well done. But, that was how my parents made it and ate it. Now, my preference is medium rare to rare, salt & pepper to taste and steak sauce. Oh, I can't forget the sauteed onions & mushrooms. But, if the steak is truly tender and falling apart, who needs anything but the steak.

I like mine all ways depending on my mood. If I am not feeling happy, then I do not want to eat a bloody stake. I do not mind eating bloody rare as long as I am in a very positive thankful mood. As immune system is stronger than, and I thank the cow for giving its like to me... and ask it's nutrients to guide and strenghthen me. If you consume blood of any type with fear, guilt, or depression, It will manifest that depression, fear, guilt to be stronger.... Which other than the Hygenics of it being cleaned right, is another reason why many religions forbid their adherents as G-ds work from consumin blood, as blood is liquid life force, that if consumed in the wrong state of mind, can manifest serious issues, and problems...
I am thankful to any animal I eat for giving up its life so that I may live... Raw meat and blood can be consumed if it is very fresh without problems, the problem is people do not know the line between very fresh, and what is not fresh anymore... and this is where the problem comes in.
So I prefer my stake well done, soft and moist. Not crispy. I rather eat bloody rare than Carbonated burnt. - DNatureofDTrain
