Is speaking better than writing?

Guys do you believe that speaking to someone is better than writing. We do write here and also some people like to write about their feelings. But I think for conveying our feelings it is better to speak to someone. As it can relieve you instantly if you have some sad or negative feelings. Now I am not saying that writing is bad at all. It helps us to remember many things. But I think communicating properly is more of a necessity today. So how do you communicate?

When speaking, you can see the expression of the person while speaking. But when writing, you don't know if the writer is sad or happy unless you know how to read between the lines from his posts or he says so. For good speakers speaking is better than writing. I prefer writing but sometimes I prefer to speak.

Exactly to know what the other person is thinking of expression it is good to listen and speak.

Both have equal importance depending on the situation . feelings can be expressed perfectly with talking only .There will be chances of misunderstanding when we write .

It all depends on the subject and situation. If it is possible to face to face talk then it is good. However, one person do not shows the patience to hear then it is better write down and hand over to the person.

I feel that my posts or comments are misunderstood a lot because people don't know what I mean. If they could see my face and hear the tone of my voice, I don't think they would misunderstand so much.

I always prefer writing. I can express myself better with a pen.

it depends but in writing, we must be very careful because it can be used against us we can't deny, unlike when spoken we can always deny we said it.

Writing is very effective communication when things need to be recorded, but often in relationships there is nothing like speaking. Speaking is face to face and you hear the intonation in the voice and also the body language which gives you a better understanding of the feelings of others.

Sometimes I like to write as I can take my time to get the wording as I want it but I think really it's best to talk face to face. Body language, tone of voice, etc all help to get the message across and you don't have that benefit when you write.

I usually communicate now though private messages; so it is the written word; but if I have the chance to meet them personally especially family members, I speak to them directly.
