yeah, maybe the some spywares or start-up programs. try to update your anti-spyware or anti-virus.

i own a computer with intel pentium 4 processor and intel 845GVSR mother board. my problem is excessive noise and vibration from the processor fan.

does your cabinet has better ventilation like chimany for processor fan and PCI-X vent and exhaust fan so it will cool down the pc and the fan will run at lower speed

20 years from now its very old pc and i think only dos will work on that pc and no body uses dos now a days
