I’m Sooooooo Excited!

Today makes 4 weeks since we’ve arrived in Florida. Yesterday, we mailed out our Declaration of Domicile after having it notarized.
But what excites me more is that my brother and his wife are arriving this morning to spend all of January and half of February at their condo here. We will pick them up at the airport on time, since I am tracking their flight. Dinner out tonight with them.
Now they and our other sister-in-law being here won’t make me as homesick as I’ve been.
I’m soooo excited!

@FayeHazel Thin/. LOL! We loved the detail on it and the marble top. An antique dealer tried to buy it out from under our noses, but we had a "hold" on it, and the shop honored us.

Thats' a really great thing to look forward to. I'm excited for you too. I'm always excited when a family member I haven't seen for awhile would stay with us.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, finally! He does get excited when he hears our voices on FaceTime. It took him all these weeks to get used to our son's new house. My poor baby. Thanks for asking.

Many thanks. We placed a hold on that table when we first moved down here. We had other errands to do and didn’t want to drag it around. When we returned to pick it up (at an antique shop), the owner told us a dealer offered her double to buy it. She was kind enough not to sell it to him and waited for us to return.
Just to be on the safe side, my husband filed the papers in case Connecticut ever thinks we are cheating them. It really isn’t necessary, so don’t worry. We want to cover most of the bases down here.

I am very happy that your brother his partner and your sister-in-law will be there to spend some time with you. It makes you feel so great to be with loved ones as much as you can, and I am pretty sure you are so greatful for having them nearby. I love the photograph, I don't know if that type of table is considered a "living room table" too, but its design is exquisite I love it.

Thanks so much. His wife has to return for work for a month, but they’ll return for the month of March and part of April. My brother can work online and does it early in the morning. They are coming here for nibbles later after they open their condo and settle in. Then we will go out for dinner together.
