Studies have shown that there may be a link between diabetes and some dangerous chemicals, which are found in the environment and in common household products. While certain chemicals may directly increase the risk of developing Type II diabetes, others may contribute to obesity, a serious risk factor in the development of the disease. These chemicals include, phthalates and bisphenol A (BPA), common chemicals which are found in soaps, nail polishes, hair sprays, perfumes, and moisturizers. Other harmful chemicals are Arsenic, PCBs, and Dioxins.

It is good to know this. I am pre-diabetic and hardly each too many sweets. I enjoy them, and maybe I do indulge more than I should. I am going to look out for these BPA chemicals from now on. Both my parents have Type 2 Diabetes.

Can you name anything without poison in this world? Nothing, so it is better not to bother about the bad side.
