Are you an organ donor?

Medical science has advanced to the point where many human organs can be transplanted from one person to another. But demand can outstrip supply. The commonest organ transplant is a kidney and the wait for an adult kidney transplant can be considerable. The waiting time for a child kidney transplant is less than that for an adult but can still be a long time. The situation for other organs isn't much better. Volunteering to be an organ donor after your death could save someone's life. So how about it? Will you be an organ donor?

I absolutely am an organ donor, I think everyone unless they have a religious reasoning, should be required to. It would end up saving and improving so many lives.

@spicysweetie21 Since the object of transplanting human organs is to save life what truly religious person could refuse?

I am, and like others here, it is on my licence that any organs that can be used can be removed.

In the UK it's voluntary and we have to state that we wish organs to be used. It isn't on our licence
