And I Thought I Had a Few More Days to Get to Ten Dollars...

While I've been watching my bank increase looking to see if it would get to ten dollars for the first time ever here, they decided to pay us today. I'm thinking it's a few days early, but then again I don't get paid each month and therefore, it may fluctuate according to what's going on in their lives?
Anyway I know that what my bank shows after the new month begins won't be what I get. But, I do try to make it to the first dollar before getting paid. I've done that for a long time, but I think this is the first month that I actually got over the dollar before what's built up disappears into my personal bank. I won't necessarily be working quite as hard to get payout as I have been, although I'll still be around a bit more until I head back to work on the twentieth.
I happened to look at my email today and saw the mail from mylot. So, I was able to capture the screenshot of my page before refreshing to my new Jan total of 1.4123. Not bad, for me, for a new month.
I'll be walking with my friend in about an hour, and may fit those errands in later today after my friend, employee comes to wash my floor and maybe do some other cleaning to pay for a coat I bought her months back.

@MarshaMusselman I did not notice at first that we were paid, I was looking at my bank and I was wondering why it was reduced to about 12$, then I realized we had been paid.

@LadyDuck Twelve dollars would be a nice way for me to start off the new month. Maybe that will happen one day down the road.

What I got paid for today is from both Nov and Dec. I knew there was no set day and I'm quite happy with the dollar fifty that now sits in my Jan bank.

Thanks, that's for both November and December, not just one month.
How are you doing? Just here for a few minutes, or back a bit or we'll have to see? Whichever, it's good to see your 'smiling face', name and familiar avatar.

@responsiveme course if she wanted to update it to something else we'd figure it out soon enough unless she changed everything.
Maybe I should try that and see if anyone notices.

It may be years before I get to the five dollars before the bank reverts back down to just the current month's money. I am up to two dollars now, though, but we're almost half way through the month and that's not halfway there. If I can make up for it this week, there's a small possibility I can still do it even with me going back to work, but I'm not holding my breath at present.

@just4him I attribute a lot of what we make to how active we are, obviously, but more to how many numbers we have adding up next to our name. It's much faster for me to earn now even being here more or less than usual than when I first began when I was here a lot more. I don't think the money I earn is higher per interaction, but rather that more people probably recognize my name and stop in more often.
I expect that when I get over one hundred thousand that possibly I can get the minimum before we get the last months' bank deducted faster than I can now even doing the same things. But, I'm biding my time for my own personal research type thing.

@MarshaMusselman I'm sorry it's taking so long to get the minimum. I'm well past it now, almost double and will be by the end of the day.

Right, and today is the 11th of the month, so their a bit early, which is fine I thought I just had a few more days to up what would be left in my bank once I got last months payment.
When you read that, Andria, did you think I don't understand how the payments work and what part of each month it covers? I'm not sure whether you're explaining for my sake or that of others here. If for me, I'll have to go back and see where you got that idea so I can edit it.

@andriaperry Lol,, I'm now on my second cup of coffee. I went back and re read it again and will keep it as is.
I would hope that within six months here most members would understand how it works. But, I'm sure someone will learn something if they take the time to read what you said above and that's fine too.

You don't make it far enough to reach payout or to show almost ten dollars in your bank? You do realize that was the amount for both Nov-Jan before payments went out on the 11th?
I made 4.46 in November, not enough to redeem and then
3.9082 in December. By payout in Jan I was just under 1.50 for the current month.
I have yet to get paid every month and that's fine with me.

@MarymargII That just looks like it's been since Christmas. You look like you were around before then even though I didn't run into you. That's still decently active. We can only be as active as we can be and sometimes it's better to be active away from mylot.

@MarshaMusselman No I never reach payout in one month- it may take two or sometimes three depending on how active I am. And lately I haven't been very active here.

I don't know what you mean when you say 'results'. Are you talking about how many responses I've had on this post, or what's in my bank?
I will be surprised if I make payment this month. I tend to fall short within a dollar the month after I got it before. In other words, I tend to only get paid every other month if that.

@leny34 And it will fluctuate for all of us here depending on how much time we have to spend on this site. For some members, they are retired or at least not working outside the home every day and they might make a lot more than you or I will.

I have yet to be paid every month, at most it's ever other month or every few months once we get busy with our business again spring to December. I'm not going to hold my breath on making it. It tends to work out for me also that I'm busier the last week of the month for some reason, so I can't be around as much getting the last little bit.
A month or so ago, I thought maybe I could manage 25 cents per day, but that's been few and far between too.

@MarshaMusselman Yes when you have things going on offline it is not easy to behere and keep up a steady avaerage. At least it carries over and earning are not lost though like on some sites

@mayka123 Normally, I'm not here on weekend because I'm usually working, but I've had off work for these past two.5 months and will head back to work next Sunday. I've been here quite a bit during the time I've had off work and that will diminish once again when I return to work, but that's probably why you're only here on the weekends when you can be too?

Have you been making it about every other month since it looks like you've been here a decent amount of time? That's actually, my normal. Every other month or every two months.

Yes, I understand that, Arthur. This is the amount I have from November and December and the 1.41 something from January before the bank went back down. It's not just one months worth. I was trying to get to ten dollars so I'd have a little extra sitting there once the rest left for my paypal account.

My walking right now is on a treadmill at Planet Fitness. Then I can also do the weigh machines to help my back as currently I can't stand for very long and at work that's all I do. I can lean a bit there, so maybe that will help and I'll be away from the food, other than seeing it go across my belt and scanner, and we'll see if that helps too.
I like using the treadmill as I can hang on and have less impact on my back while it's healing from me over-compensating from my bad knees and the wound that lasted too long.

Two and a half months. I may make payout for this month and if I do it will be the first time I've done that the month after getting a payment. I'm almost up to three dollars. But, I go back to work on Sunday and that means my time here will be more limited once again, so we'll see.

@Hannihar I get paid here about every other month to every few months. I didn't quite have enough for November. I think I missed it by about fifty cents or so.
I was trying to get up to ten dollars before mylot sent me my December payment which included Nov also. Had I made it to ten dollars I may have had about two dollars to begin my January bank with. What I had left when the payment went through was about 1.41 or so.
So, no, I'm not being paid double, and no one would be as they don't make those mistakes here.

Well welcome to mylot, it's a fun place to be to make a little money. If you're looking to make enough to pay bills this probably won't be what you're looking for. But, if you want to make friends from all over the world this is a great place to be and you make money when people interact with what you write either in a post or responses or comments.
Have you read the rules and info about the site yet? Here is a link to an offsite blog on the topic of mylot and it's very good and has answers to questions you may not have yet but will eventually.
Anyone here is willing to help also.

I'm sure that's true, but I've not made payout those months.

I don't know how it worked before, but you get something when others interact with what you've written. While quite a few members don't write much each month they have the time to be here a lot of hours to interact and can still bring home a decent amount of money. Not enough to pay the bills, but more than the minimum payout.
For those of us that don't have the time to be here as much it might work better to write a discussion a bit more often. Each has their own way, though, and that may change according to what's going on in our lives.
How long ago did you become active here again?

I've been behind on looking at my emails and decided to begin by doing that first. I was quite surprised myself, but I'm glad that I did see it there first because I've been thinking of writing something similar to what I did and had I not looked my page would have refreshed and I'd have no idea what it did say yesterday other than getting out pen and paper and doing some figuring.

I didn't realize I missed this comment at the end of the page. Sorry about that. I hate it when authors don't acknowledge responses or other comments on their discussions.
I think my friend that cleaned for me to pay for her coat still owes me some time, but whether I make her do more work or not remains to be seen. I'm not hurting for money, over all at present, where she doesn't have enough.
Even better than that, I've bartered for getting eyeglasses before along with dental work.
