Paris Hilton - overrated or devilish smart???

Do you remember how Paris Hilton appeared on the scene for the first time - she was a teenager and rather normal and she hsd been pronounced 'It-Girl' by someone. From that moment on she was a shooting star, but actually always by complimenting herself (now I think it was her who pronounced her 'It-Girl'). Could it be, that she typed in her own name at Google a million times a day, just to make herself more known? Is she just overrated? Or is she plain brilliant? I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
