It is nice having a husband working from home

ALL of the laundry was done and folded. The dishes were done and the sink was scrubbed. The minute I put a dirty shirt into the laundry basket after a workout he ran it down to the basement to wash it. Now if I could only convince him to cook dinner for me. . . He cooked for me when we first started dating. 15 years later, that is a distant memory. I think I will set everything up for him next Thursday so he can cook dinner while I'm at the gym. It his turn after all of these years.

Our friends Jack and Brenda, had a personal cooking night for each family member. Corey cooked supper on her night, Keith fixed the meal on his night, Jack&Brenda, each had a night to prepare the family dinner, also. This way, the entire load wasn't always on Brenda's shoulders, after a hard day at work, as a school teacher.

He normally doesn't get home until at least 7 or 7:30 so I always cook. If he is working from home, though. . . he can certainly cook.

@NJChicaa Maybe your husband can set it up, so he can work from home about four days a week. That would be a BIG help for you, to have four days without any extra stress piled on you.

Does he know how to cook? If so, it's only fair to cook once in a while...

@NJChicaa Then he should make dinner sometimes... and without you asking him to do it.

I love seeing this post! Beginning the end of the month, my husband will be taking a big leap and working from home as well. I'm both excited for him and for me! He's already great about helping out around the house, but I know now he will pick up even more of the slack that happens when I am gone such long days! What does your husband do from home?

It was nice that he did some of the chores. =) My husband was sweet and took care of Julian over night. Must be something in the air...

@NJChicaa Yes he should but when he works he has to get up early so he doesn't and I totally understand that. So when it happens over the weekend it's nice to have the help.
