Behind my username or behind my real name?
My username is because I like to write.
My real name? My dad gave that to me, my middle name is the same as my mom's (except my dad spelled it wrong) and so we are named after my great aunt.

My parents saw the movie "Cimarron" when my mama was pregnant with me. I was named after the actress in the movie, Maria Schell. Only my name is with an E instead of an A.

That is interesting. I know Maria Schell well. Her brother was the Oscar winning actor Maxmillian Schell.

My name is a compromise between my parents. My mother wanted to name me something different, but my dad didn't like it..so I ended up with this name, it's not snowy!

@responsiveme There are not many first names that are palindrome. Some others are Otto, HannaH, Ava, Eve, Bob.

Well, my real name is Chatur and sounds like an Indian name and it's a combination of my Father's name and my Mother's name. My Mother is Charito while my Father is Arthur. So they combined it as if I like it. Lol. Then there's Chatur.

There is nothing interesting about my first name, but my last name is a mistake. I once asked my father why our name and my uncle's name aren't alike and he told me that our name is a mistake. When my father was baptized they made a spelling mistake when they wrote the name on the document. I asked my father: "Why didn't your family ask them to correct it?", and he laughed and said: "They didn't want to correct it, because they thought that the name looks better with the spelling mistake"

My first name is after my dads close cousin and my middle name is the same as my father, grandfather and great grand father. We all have the same middle name. My last name was changed by my great-great grandfather when he came to America.
