Did you ever have a nail biting problem, and if so, did you manage to quit?

I have a problem, not so much biting my nails, but the skin around my nails. I've been trying to quit by doing stuff like painting my nails, playing with slime, and wearing one of those cheap plastic spider rings. So far, that last one seems to be the most effective.

@PeachieMew Heh. I don't get grossed out when the young kids I work with pick their noses. I do ask them not eat their buggers while sitting on my lap, though.

At least nose-picking isn't as damaging as nail-biting. I'd say you got the better deal.

If I had no nails, I wouldn't be able to defend myself against larger predators like bilgesnipe.

@PeachieMew - some people freak out at the sight of no fingernails! just show him the fingers, see it freaks him out.

It's a bad habit. I hope you will find a solution to this problem.
