Have you made flower pots out of tyres?

I have done it for the first time a few days ago. It was fun being creative.
Last week, I saw 4 used tyres in front of our house. Just on the other side of our street. I asked our neighbor across the street if I could buy them but she said, I can have them free. The neighbor put the tyres on the side of the street so they might be gone from whoever would take them for whatever reason.
When I saw the tyres, beautiful colours came to my mind. I wanted them for my front yard as planters. After getting them for free, I and my cousin washed them and let them dry. The next day, I started painting on them with the remaining acrylic and oil paints of my hubby. When the tyres white base color dried, my small nieces and I started painting them what we liked. Each had a piece of tyre for our free creativity. The photo above is what I have made.
How do you like my tire planter?
Do you know that tyre is commonly use in British language while tire is an American one? I was confused between the two words and so I googled it.
Thanks for reading. Have a great day!

Your tire/tyre looks lovely. I always use the English spelling as that's how I learn it at school. There is another way to make a decorative flower pot but somehow it involves turning the tyre sort of inside out. You need a strong man to do it and I don't have a photo but the ones I saw looked quite effective.

You did a really nice job that looks very bright and colorful. I have hundreds here that were dumped on the property over the years and I hate them. I always have the garage dispose of my tires when I need new ones put on so it really makes me mad seeing tires dumped.
