Has anyone tried earning bitcoins? Cryptocurrency is the new thing these days.
According to Wikipedia, "A cryptocurrency (or crypto currency) is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses strong cryptography to secure financial transactions, control the creation of additional units, and verify the transfer of assets."
It's sort of a paperbill that you deposit to a bank or withdraw from an ATM machine. There are different types of cryptocurrency, just like the US Dollar USD, Philippine Peso PHP, Chinese Yuan CNY etc, and they are called:
Bitcoin (BTC) is one of the most commonly known currencies. Bitcoin is considered an original cryptocurrency. Similar to the USD.
Okay, so I'm getting my curiosity fired up. What is this all about? Do I need to shell out money to earn a bitcoin, or are there ways to earn bitcoins without using money?
Any thoughts?

I learned and earned more than 3 BTC thru blogging (from bitLanders) back in 2015 there are many ways to receive Bitcoin without buying it but of course we use money for internet. We cannot get it without internet.
Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a VIRTUAL or DIGITAL/INTERNET CURRENCY. We could keep it OFFLINE (either Paper Wallet or Trezor, Ledger Nano, Keepkey etc.) to avoid getting hacked. It is NOT safe to keep Bitcoin online neither USD on PayPal as it can be hacked if you are not careful.
Now, we could still earn CryptoCurrency thru BLOGGING. I am at Steemit.
We could claim CryptoCurrency thru FAUCETS. My favorite is MOON FAUCETS.
There are more ways but the above mentions are my favorites.

I have yet to grasp the whole thing. I have a BTC coin which loaded with a few pesos and I earned 50 in less than a day, but that was a year ago, the price of bit coin is lower now than before.

In my recent read, bitcoins can be earned even without capital or any startup investment. Interesting how they came up with this cryptocurrency. Defies the money market, somehow, until the user realizes that bitcoins need to be converted to USD or local currency to use it, realistically speaking.

It is just complicated for me to understand, so I go with just with making USD and that is fine by me.

@yuj___ Awful. Protest everywhere, hunger, lack of medicine, food, supplies, insecurity, and the list goes on. Though we are a strong folk that never gives up. It is sad that we had to be ruled by such a corrupt government that is still in the leadership. So far there's nothing we can do because we would be killed. It's hard, but we still standing! thanks for asking.
