Hoping for Just a Little Snow

The forecasters tell us that the Northeast is in for a monster snowstorm this weekend. And southeastern Pennsylvania would seem to be right in the storm's path. But so far this Winter we've escaped really heavy snowfalls, and I'm hoping that trend continues. Right now, I'm looking out my office window and there's maybe an inch of snow on the ground. I'm ok with maybe another inch or so, but please not the 4 or 6 inches nearby states are predicted to get. Actually, I like snow - as long as it stays outside while I stay inside. Snow is beautiful to behold - from afar. Where it becomes unbeautiful is when you have to shovel it out of the way. That's why for me a little is fine, but when it gets to shoveling depth, my admiration for it vanishes. Image © 2019 Ronald E. Franklin

We are going to get clobbered with snow here in inland Maine from this storm tonight and tomorrow.

Hope you don't have to go out anywhere and that the storm isn't as bad as anticipated. Stay safe and warm

I'm hoping we don't get too much snow too. Once it requires shoveling it's already too much!

Where we live we have no public sidewalks. Just personal ones up by the house. We only got an inch or so though. It is the frigid cold and high winds that really perturb me.

I'm with you on the frigid cold and high winds. Put the two together (a really cold wind in your face) and you've got a recipe for misery.

Hope you don’t get hit too hard. I don’t mind a little bit of snow but when it starts making commutes dangerous then I have a problem?

The worst is when it starts snowing while you're at work, and you have no choice but to drive through it to get home.

I'm longing for a good snow here but it doesn't seem we're going to get one. Maybe just a dusting with some icy conditions. Since we live on a hill we're stocking up on a few things.

Where we live, you have to climb up a hill to get to us. When there's snow or ice on the roads, it becomes pretty treacherous to drive up the hill. I always dread that.
