last night's moon

There was a lot of cloud cover in our sky during last night's total lunar eclipse, which was really disappointing. All over social media, friends were posting about how wonderful and amazing and gorgeous the moon was, and how awesome it was to see the eclipse, and I couldn't see any of it.
Fortunately, the clouds moved aside at the end of the eclipse (I got to see just a sliver of eclipse left) and I got to witness some of the gorgeousness. The moon had several rainbow halos around it, at least while the clouds were still nearby. My phone camera really doesn't do this justice, but you can see some of the halo effect.
Did you get to see the moon last night?

I wish I had been able to, but the clouds were too thick. It even started raining again at one point.

@spiderdust I would of taken pics, but I didn't think my phone camera would do it justice.

@thislittlepennyearns Mine sure didn't, and I've got a pretty decent camera. I wish I knew how to use it better... I don't know how to tweak the settings. I suppose I should just play around with it.

I'm glad you got to see it! I wish I had been able to show it to the kids, but I wasn't getting them out of bed at that hour.
