Have you ever thought one of your parents passed away only to find out many years later that he or she is still alive? Life is full of surprises but not usually of this kind. I was told when I was 13 years old that my father died only to find out at age 58 he is still alive and kicking, and I have four half sisters. You can be sure, I am still shocked, but it is getting better.

@cintol I have had communication with one of my sisters. The other are not interested. They have their own lives.

Yes, I am going to meet my father. If my sisters are open to meeting me, I would like to meet them, too. They all live in other parts of the USA.

I just found out. One of his other daughters contacted him, and shared the news. He is in disbelief. I am hoping to write to him before I visit him. Yes, I was in shock....And to find out that I am the big sister. I am finally out of most of the pain that came with finding out and knowing. I am still a little numb.
