If my child wants to believe in Santa, she can. But if she asks me if he is real, I am not going to lie to her. I will explain that Santa is more about the magical feeling of Christmas and the spirit of giving than a real person.

Have a one year old and will let him believe in Santa Claus, it helps teach them to have an imagination.

I let my children believe in Santa Claus. It makes the holidays funner. And you can tell them that Santa is watching them so they will behave.

I plan to let my daughter believe in him. It's part of the magic of childhood! They grow up too fast anyways. And the last thing I want is her being that one kid that always goes around and ruins it for all the other kids.

Yes I did. My daughter is 16 now and helps out with our business which part of it is personalized letters from Santa (www.sweetdesigninc.com) I am glad that she believed and is now helping to make it real for other children.
