The over or under toilet paper debate

When my fiance and I moved into together this was one of those little things that irked both of us. I use to always put in on under and he always did over. He would change it and I would change it back. It went on for awhile
Finally after a long time I gave in and let him have his way and now it is always over and I hate to admit it but I actually prefer it that way now.
So which is right in your opinon? Over or Under?

@marguicha My husband is well trained, when he changes the roll he know how I want it.

@Happy2BeMe Yes it does and it gets flushed in the end. My restroom is so tiny that I don't have room for a hanger so I just keep a roll on the shelf which is easy to reach while sitting there.

By chance, I heard a commentary about it on the radio a couple years ago. Someone had found the original wrap with instructions on how to place the roll on the holder. It's over. That's how I've done it since. I was always an under person as well, as that's how I grew up.

That is how I grew up too I never knew it to be any different. That is very cool that they found the instructions.

I don't think there's actually a right or a wrong way of doing this. But, I always put the roll in the upward position, out of habit.

We've always had it over. But some if our guest over the years, including my boyfriend, have either liked it under when they put them on, or just didn't care how they put it on. Lol

I prefer the under. It is easier for me to take off that way. Someone stayed over night and I put it with under and she changed it to over and i had to change it back. We kept going on that way but I thought this is my home and she can live with one night of what I do and go to her own home and do what she wants I felt. When I was at her home I did not change things to my way.

I also thought it was odd too but the last time I helped her with organizing she turned into a very mean person and then we had it out on facebook and I saw how she treated her husband when I was there. She manipulates people and uses them for her own needs and only wants people to support her. We were at something and it was so so hard to get out and I said something and she told me I was being too dramatic. I am so glad she is no longer in my life.

@Hannihar I am glad you are no longer friends with her. It is hard to tolerate people like that. You life is so much better without them.

That is odd that she would change it in your home.

It really is not a debate. It's OVER and if you say different you're just wrong. :) I'm not a very picky person and not many things bother me but when it is under it really bothers me. I will change it if it is under no matter where I am at.

@Happy2BeMe Sometimes you just have to show people they are wrong.

I like it over too. But when you're out and about I've noticed that it could go either way. I'm just glad that they got a restroom for the public to use.
