Hi as an international user looking in from the outside I'm curious about this shut down of the American government. All I know is that the American president is refusing to sign bills until he gets approval to build a wall at the US-mexico border and it is only a partial shutdown. What actually happens in a shutdown? How does this look on the international level? And as a Canadian how does it affect Canada-US relations? Would LOVE to see both sides x

Well opinions vary, lol apparently he partially shut down his country to build a wall between United States and Mexico. I'm just interested in hearing different perspectives, being an international, not American.

@Nickzter1331 I honestly don't know. I will go out on a limb and say I do believe he is crazy and don't care much for him. The thing about the wall it's not really stable in the long run. Yes he is filling an election promise, however, it's a very divisive move and if a different party gets voted in parliament 2 years from now what good is the wall if it will probably get torn down under the leadership of the Democrat party? All that money would be wasted.
