My windows is so troublesome

I tethered my laptop with my phone. And because of that windows used some of my Cellular data. Even though I already updated this windows. This is really irritating... Have you guys ever experienced this one?

Thank you. I wish windows doesn't downloading anything without my consent. I searched through internet how to prevent that, but it always failed.

I don't use my phone as a hotspot so no. But you may check a few ways/tips online on how to save your data while tethering. Videos auto-playing, high reso pictures, seeding torrents, etc are just some of the things that you have to consider.

I don't have any wifi at home so I have to use my cellular data. I just don't want my windows to update without my consent. Because I use internet for most of the things that you said. Browsing pictures, downloading some videos. So I can't really restrict them.

In that case, better set a data cap. Make sure as well that there are no apps running in the background on your phone.

Laptop? I just used it very rare which one is for my daughter. Other one is used by my hubby for official purposes. I do my internet work through mobile. And I am happy. No never faced such problems.

Well, sometimes using a big screen is much better than just using phone. Besides I used my laptop for my college assignment. And sometimes I use it to watch some videos.
