Few years ago, my father being forced by my mother to get blood test in a clinic then the blood test result showing a high level of prostate related disease (I am not sure about the details). They went to see doctor and the doctor advise my father to get treatment for the disease. However, my father refused.
Everything seem to be okay until yesterday my mother inform me that my father is having difficulty in controlling urine and has some back pain. So , he went to see doctor by himself and the doctor conducted some testing on his anus and urine and suspected that he is having prostate cancer or tumor. The doctor gave him some medication and already schedule to have a blood test after 15 days to determine the real cause.
May I know does anyone of your knowing the symptom whether is prostate cancer or tumor? Any treatment that can best treat to this disease? I hope you can share with me so that I can prepare and help my father. Thank you.

I wish I was a physician to give you guidance regarding this topic, but unfortunately I am not. I hope there's a skilled person in this matters who can give you a hand on this. Meanwhile we all can keep your dad in our prayers so he can get well and the blood test results have nothing to do with cancer. May God be by your side and your dad Alvin!

Thanks for the prayer.
I need someone who can share the experience of who have undergo it. So that I can have some expectation what will need to be ready, prepare or at least some comfort from a true person instead of advise from a person just to boost their name.
Based on my research, the blood test to test the cancer antigen is called PSA but some people said that the result may not accurate and the best one is to do ultrasound. It is a common disease for people who are in older age to have difficulty to urine (urine contact). I just hope it in this case but not in the worse case like tumor or cancer. However, still need to wait for the day to pass and get doctor review.

@Acefun Alvin let's hope it is not cancer, I am sure it isn't. If it is cancer, I am sure you will be brave enough to face it with your family and help your dad to get it over with. I hope somebody shows up and gives you the guidance that you need, nonetheless if that person does not show up you will face it with the physician's assistance.

Thank you.
It is my obligation as a son. Just like how they take care and love me when I am a baby until now.
Hope not fall into greedy doctor business,

Well the only thing I know is to have the sample biopsied to really know if it is cancer or just ordinary tumor that can be treated easily. The conventional treatment for this is the chemotherapy or raidaition depending on how your oncologist would recommend to him. Other alternatives are not really that potent as of yet.
