It's Peanut Butter Day

Today is National Peanut Butter Day. They were talking about it on the radio and they were asking if people ate any unusual combinations when it came to peanut butter. There were many different replies like Peanut Butter and Cucumber sandwiches, Peanut Butter and Bacon, Peanut and Mayo, Peanut Butter and Cheese.
If you eat Peanut Butter sandwiches, how do you like them? Do you have any unusual combinations? I don't eat peanut butter very often but I when I do I like just peanut butter on toast.

i tried peanut butter and cheese as a kid. once was enough! i know about peanut butter and apple, but those you mention are definitely unusual!

Peanut and cheese does sound awful. I wouldn't try it either.

PB & Bacon sounds good actually. Though it might be too salty. If the bacon is Maple Bacon it would be even better.
I just eat PB&J or make things with PB & Chocolate. I also make potato candy which has PB in it.

@Happy2BeMe I've talked about ti here a million times before. 
Basically like a jelly roll type thing. Using potato that you mash, confectioner's sugar and butter. It's delicious! Absoltuely, positively too sweet, but delicious!
Oh and Peanut Butter of course.

@Happy2BeMe Chocolate covered peanut butter. I make them at Christmas. You ball the peanut butter mix and dip into chocolate leaving a little bare spot. They then look like the nuts from a buckeye tree.

As a kid, my friend Diane and I ate peanut-butter and bologna sandwiches:) Now, my favorite way is peanut butter on toast, with strawberry jam. We love it!

@kobesbuddy oh yikes that sounds awful peanut butter and bologna. I had bologna one time in kindergarten. My mom put it in my lunch with mustard. I bit in to it and it was so bad I thought my mom must not love me to send me something that tasted so bad. My eyes started to fill with tears and my cousin asked what was wrong. I told him allergies or something.

Peanut butter and bologna is definitely different but I did hear somebody on the radio say they eat that too.

Oh I love peanut butter, I can't say I am much of a fan of it outside of using in a dessert. Peanut butter cookies are delicious and good to dunk in coffee. But I also am a little bit of an extreme peanut butter fan in that, say I'm having a rough day and want to indulge in food, I eat straight peanut butter

I have always loved peanut butter.
I think that my favorite is crunch peanut butter on toast with banana slices on it.
Its very filling and makes a great supper on a cold night.
Strange, I did not know it was peanut butter day today, but I did stop at a special grocery store to pick up 2 cartons of Shaw ice cream, both of which have peanut butter in them, and then when I got home I made peanut butter cookies.
