My thoughts and humble opinions..
I look at the disaster going on in the present moment at this government shut down and how it is effecting so many.
Many often ask me why I am not so big on government funded programs to be forced to us to be reliable and dependent on.
This is not to say I am not 100% against state and gov ran programs, as if the program is done right and works well. I am not.
However,
there has to be a variety type of alternatives..
such in cases like these..
where a shutdown occurs that can support the needs of
ALL the US citizens who chose to take part in the option...
Right now,
I also see another industry struggling..
called the Advertising industry...
What can be done is they can team up with non profits both religious and secular.. and even for profits....
... to give funds to provide services to meet anyone's needs for when a work disaster shut down, or natural disaster, or another issue arises where people need money to live, eat, sleep, travel, and get education.
We all ask the government to take full responsibility to help us...
But, there needs to be more options than just the government...
As Even the government will always fall on hard times..
Maybe State or local, or townships can come up with a plan with local businesses or something they could even come up with a plan that would also benefit local small businesses that otherwise go unnoticed to help balance the economy...
So many things we can do.
There really is no excuse for us to be trapped in a shut down disaster.. however,,,
So although many can not make much of a move while the government is shut down at the moment...
But they can however start making plans now...
so the next time this or another mass company shut down occurs..
they have a way to keep the us economy on its feet,,,,
and the people that drive it...
Another thing is...
This is not an issue to think about with just gov employees this is an issue to think about any time a mass company or incorporation of any sort shut downs... and multiple jobs are lost...
This is going to be reoccurring in some form or another..
so someone with the smarts, money, and know how...
should..
get this going....
Don't look at me..
I do not know the answers in this area I have minor ideas
I can give here and there...
but not much more than that...
It makes no logical sense to me..
to demand a wall in the name of improving security, and to shut down the government,
causing financial danger to 800,000 US government workers....
Which also boosts the risks to each US citizen, as well as the trash piling up risk in our national parks....
and the safety issues it has caused to suddenly cutting off support to people in poverty around this nation.
Starving workers, woman and children.. to build a wall?
I can not see the logic in that.
I am not against security but lets be real..
the price he is demanding for this what he calls his wall does not even cover a reasonable price for a fence of that length!...
So we going to lay two rails at the border and call it a wall?...
or this wall going to be super paper thin?.....
If he gets his way doing a shut down he will be like a child and try to shut down every moment he can...
So lets get the alternatives support for people of our nation going...
If anyone knows of alternative programs that can help people who are dependent on the gov support start sharing them....
Lets get the information out to those who need it! Let's get the ball rolling and turn this disaster around.... Yes, I agree with increasing security. No, I do not agree a border wall is a reasonable choice. And I highly disagree with shutting down the government and in doing so creating security risks, in the name of trying to build security. That is just nonsensical to me.
One thing that can help is for the Banking systems to bring back Benjamin Franklin's Pay it Forward programs! Not just for gov employees but for all...
