My Dear Ole' Friend / myLot

It's important to push your friends into doing something that they never thought they would do. You do that because you know that they would fall in love with the idea and be absolutely amazing. My friend loves to write and I know for a fact that she would use this website as an escape from the world and truly express herself, so I'm trying my best to get her to join Mylot. She told me that she has nothing to say and I followed by saying that ... that was a lie. You do have something to say; you have a story to tell. Everyone does. It does not matter what you talk about, there is always someone out there that can relate to how you feel and that's the beautiful part about it. You guys, I'm trying to get her here because this may be the start of a new journey for not only herself but for the audience that she creates.

I completely agree with you. I am a writer myself, in addition to suffering from bipolar and anxiety disorders. My mind is constantly racing and I have so many thoughts that get stuck in my mind that beg to be let out. And the beauty of things here on mylot is that it is completely anonymous, my thoughts and feelings are safe here, much unlike many other social media outlets. Continue to encourage your friend, it is a great thing to have a non judgemental outlet like my friends here on mylot to express myself and also I have gained some great advice during troublesome periods such as now in my life.
