Interesting fact

Isn't interesting that we can tell our story to people online and that we will never meet but we can't tell our significant others that we meet regularly in our daily life. People can sometimes be freely to express their emotion on the internet but not on their real life. What do you think about this?

Could it be that we don't trust the people we know in real life but we trust people we don't know because they can't hurt us or so we think?

Good reasoning. Maybe because they don't really know about us. So that's why maybe we can tell them because they're neutral? Unlike our significant other.

@06171995yrthday Yup. And maybe sometimes we don't want to burden our significant other by telling our problems to them. Because they already have so much to think about.

You have a point, but sometimes people tell their story to other people to know their different sides, because they think that if they tell to their relatives or friends they may judge them or be bias.

Yup... We are living in a world where we can interact with people who is thousands kilometers away but we can connected in just a seconds. But there's still some negative impact with this fast development.

@Jeanne_KaSaHa I think we can express what is there in our mind more freely than in real life.. anonymity gives us the freedom to express and write things without being judged

@Decgirl Yeah and they can keep it secret. Because no one will be able to tell people who knows us anyway.

It is rather strange. I suppose it might be because you feel anonymous online as you are behind a screen and it almost doesn't feel like real life.

Maybe because we need to talked about it but we don't really want to be known about who we are.

Often, I need to be able to vent to somebody, Often, if we tell people things face-to-face, the conversation gets repeated to the entire universe.

I see your point. People like to gossip about things. Even when we told them not to tell the others, it will never stop with them.

It's weird but often we find it easer to open up to a complete stranger whom we will never actually meet and (this is important) who doesn't know anyone we know so that stories can't be spread around

So it's about keeping it private. Yeah I know sometimes even if we tell someone a story and warn them not to tell the others, it will never stop to them.

Dangerous to say too many personal things online , We've got to be really careful about how much we reveal. All these almost ten years I have been working online I have learned a few lessons the hard way.
