I love to flirt, always have. It makes the person being flirted with happy and smile, while it does the same to whomever is doing the flirting.
Phone numbers are exchanged and are usually wrong on purpose but it doesn't make a difference as it will be get thrown away the first chance they get.
Compliments are given, laughed at and forgotten.
Things have changed and you have to think is it okay to compliment their new haircut or the new suit or do you even talk to someone without getting sued?
Flirting is a part of being a teenager, part of the learning curb. Flirting is fun and innocent now NO ONE knows when the line--that line--is being crossed so everyone goes on the Internet to flirt where it is safe to say whatever you want to say but they are just LOL or :O) which is not the same.
A report recently came out that there are more lonely people now than ever before. Can the decline of face to face flirting have anything to do with it?
I believe in and enjoy flirting and being flirted with even knowing it is mainly meaningless but it puts smiles on all our faces when it is done in fun.
Do you flirt? Do people flirt with you? Do you enjoy doing it? If you have anything against flirting what is it and why?
(And why can't I get pictures to post?!?!)

It comes naturally--just a smile can be a flirt!

You're right, we are losing something by everyone being too paranoid to flirt. But at the same time, we are gaining something because the Internet is a godsend to people who are too shy to flirt in person. We could have both, of course, but no, some people go too far and others get paranoid and the whole thing is ruined.
Maybe the decrease in flirting does have something to do with the increase of loneliness...I always blamed disease (Mostly AIDS and Herpes) but maybe things like the demise of flirting are also major causes? And what about cell phones? People seem to be more interested in Candy Crush than the people around them. Could that be a cause?
I have nothing against flirting. I like it.

Flirting has become dangerous these days--people don't know what the limits are--what is 'right' and what isn't--the #METOO has defined interactions very differently now which is why so many have turned to the Internet and groups.
I'll flirt to the day I day--will probably wink at the coroner!!

@GreatMartin That winking at the coroner bit would be great in a movie. You should write a screenplay.
