Financial Hemorrhage

Rising cost of living, inflation rate, loss of job, unemployment, illness are just some causes why one's pocket can be drained. When there are more money outflows and less money it is really a disaster. That's when one resorts to credit which even more drains one's financial situation. Be on a personal level or business level this can be addressed by some cost-saving measures. As there is no way for a salary increase for this year and my other income remains in the same level I have to find ways to avoid more cash outflows such as walking from the office to home and avoiding softdrinks. I tried to avoid loan sharks at work who are offering their services by persuading us to sell our expected benefits such as clothing and discounted at 10 percent. I refrained from buying another pair of shoes while there are still those that I can use. I list all items for groceries so that I can only focus on these things and does not have to look around until my eyes land on unnecessary items. Are you experiencing some sort of financial hemorrhage? How do you deal with it

We are both retired and we do not spend a lot. For the moment what we get is fine.

I always budget and spend wisely, I haven't had to take loans except for buying our home. Sorry that you have to go through this, it is difficult, I know because i have been through that too.

@florelway A little bit here and there helps too. Maybe you should find a couple of other sites to earn too.

That's the best that we can do to always live within the means. Prices soaring high while income constant. I hope this online activities will help in anyway.

I decided this year to not buy soft drinks. I used to buy at least 2-3 times a week when I went somewhere. Now I have an empty bottle and I fill it with water. It is not a huge amount of money, but every penny counts.

@anikoonline I agree with you and I realize we don't really need softdrinks. Not only that this is not healthy this has become a bit more expensive in our country due to some tax issues. A penny saved today becomes a dollar tomorrow.

@florelway It is expensive here, too. One bottle (5 dl) costs 1$. How much does it cost in Philippines? Now I try to spare that dollar for soft drink every week.

I don't have very high expectations and I don't spend a lot.. By God's grace we can satisfy our basic needs and some luxury as well with what we have.. But I know many people who are struggling due to these issues..

@Sheali there is no balance in our economy, rich becoming richer and richer, while the poor becoming poorer and poorest.

Until it's payday? One saving tip is respond to all invitations like birthday, fiesta, anniversaries. Last night we were invited to an anniversary celebration so we saved a lot for dinner lol

Fortunately, no! However, sadly, every time I eat spicy foods, I experience hemorrhage! em] . . Just kidding! Right budgeting is the thingl Don't buy what you like; buy what you need! Unless, of course, if I win millions from lottery. I would buy a house and lot in Baguio and tour the world with my girlfriend, ehek, wife, in tow!
