My Lot is overpopulated or underpopulated?

What do you think? Approximately, how many members does My Lot have?
There are so many posts to read on My Lot and so many people having different personalities. Here, I got to interact with people of other countries and in less than a month's time, came to know some interesting facts and obviously get the world's weather report from time to time..
I joined in January and I see many people joining in. Sometimes, I feel, how many people are actually there on My Lot. Is there any page to know that? I don't know.

In the past we had a member list, but it doesn't exist today as far as I know. Many of the profiles aren't active. Some of them never posted anything at all and some of them used to be active but left a long time ago.
There is a relatively small group of a members who are here every day or almost every day. Some members come and go. I don't know how many active members there are.

@Sheali In the past it was also possible to see the number of members from every country. We can't see that now, but some countries are well-represented here like the US and the Philippines. At the moment I am the only active member from my country

Hi there, I don't think there is a page that truly tells you the number of active users. I have been on and off Mylot for years and have seen many changes to the site and to its member base. I do get the impression that we do not have as many active members now as we had a few years ago. But I think the few active members are more determined now to make Mylot a good website so it equals out really good. I like this smaller and cozy Mylot version.

@LadyDuck JJ replied me here as well.. I was not a part of My Lot that time.. So I didn't see this..
Anyways, in this link, Crystal Sparks has just asked the question,"Does anyone have any idea how many members there are on this site?" I also asked if there is a page to see that.. and people replied that there isn't and someone said there used to be one in the past.. I have also shared my views about the site..
There are so many posts that it is difficult to know if a similar thing has been already discussed or not.

@Sheali I have wondered this myself a lot but I liked reading JJ's answer! Gives us a better idea on how many people come here.

First of all you have to define what is an "active member". At the last count (about a year ago, I think), the owner said that there were about 400-450 members who posted something at least once a month. If you mean people who post something every day, then I guess it's a quite a lot less than that.
What I can tell you for sure is that, for this month so far, 254 discussions are posted per day, on average. The average number of responses a discussion receives is around 10 and each response generates, on average, a little more than 2 comments. All of that is very easy to calculate because each discussion response and comment is given a serial number which is part of the URL. Of course, some of those discussions will have been deleted by Admin. I don't know how many, but I guess that it's between 5% and 10%.
It would be much harder for the 'average Joe' to calculate how many individual members post each day and how many posts (discussions, responses and comments) each one posts!
