“Here comes the twenty first century
It’s gonna be much better for a girl like me
I want everything I can get
But most of all I want that man
I want that man”
The best song from her best album. “I Want That Man” is the closest sounding Debbie solo hit to Blondie. The song was written by Tom Bailey and Alannah Currie of the Thompson Twins. Harry is in peak form singing this tune of wistful longing. She was more popular as a solo in the UK evidenced by “I Want That Man” charting at #13 there. In the US, the song was relegated to alternative radio mustering a #2 position on Modern Rock Tracks.

Excellent song, although I'm obviously not telling you anything you didn't already know.
