This is so annoying.. Someone repeatedly asking for small amounts of money and you CAN'T say "NO"

We have a colleague who often goes out with us after school and is always either having 1000rupee notes or she doesn't have sufficient money to buy things.
She would always borrow 10 INR or 15 INR, saying that she would return later, but that later never comes. It becomes embarrassing for us to ask for the money, as it is a very small amount. But, she repeatedly does that, so the total amount is not so small. Most of the times, her excuse is that she doesn’t have enough change or she is falling short of just 10 or 15 INR. We can’t even say “No, we don’t have money”, as we buy things for ourselves.
Do you face a similar situation?

I once had that problem at the university. He was always asking for very small amounts and I gave it to him. But once I got fed up. So hte next time he asked me I said firmly 'no'. He was very much surprised and was bold enough to ask me if I did not have the money. I told him then that I did but tha I would never again lend him money. Then I asked him if he was going to pay me al that I had lent him. He was silent and he never asked me for money again.

I have met people like those before and it is completely annoying, and I cannot deny I gave them some money, later on I stopped. If I were you, I would stop financing her by giving her money, what a such bad behaviour of hers!

@Sheali That is the best choice. It doesn't even matter if she does not talk to you anymore. People have to learn that is wrong!

@Sheali I can understand how you feel. I've been in similar situations. My best advice is next time, just politely explain that you can not lend anymore and would really prefer to have the money back that you're owed.
Otherwise, as much as you're a kind person, the money you are losing may eventually set you back or cause further issues. I do not know this person and don't want to say they are using anybody but once a person keeps saying they will pay back but never do, it can start to get rather annoying and it's kinda disrespectful to not pay back.

I have experienced that. If it happens a few times I don't mind helping them with a small amount, but if it happens over and over I start to say no.

@Sheali Yes, I think that is the only thing to do if you want to stop them from asking in the future.

No because I would say no, pure and simple, just say no and tell her how much she already owes you. A friend doesn't act like this.
