Good Morning

The sun is shining the sky is blue and there are white fluffy clouds dancing across the sky. The squirrels are running around chasing each other but there is something missing. I know, it's the birds. I have not seen one bird out and about. Not even the cranes that visit us every morning have dropped in to say hello. I wonde4r where they all are? It is so cold I am in a sweat suit with heavy socks and slippers on. Brrr. It was actually in the mid 30's when I got up this morning. It has gotten up to the mid to upper 40's. I am still cold. You can bet your bippy that I will not be going outside today. I will just enjoy the sunshine from in the house. How are things in your part of the world?

I walked this morning when it was still 48 degrees! It should be a high of 69 today, and my husband just went down to the pool to read. I'm wearing long pants, a tee, and a fleece top with flip flops. It is warm in the sun to be honest.

I guess the cold has gotten into my bones recently. I have been dressing in long pants, long sleeve tops and sock.

@HazySue I was just out a few minutes getting ready for all the rain that is coming. I have one more deck to do before this evening. Don't want all of the snow to turn into ice if I don't take care of it!!

I'd be outside enjoying the sunshine in those temps. It was -4 with -17 wind chill when I left to get gas. It's supposed to be colder when I need to leave in another hour.

Same here but I have seen a couple of birds at the feeders outside the sliding glass door. I haven't beeen out as the wind is quite brisk and cold from the cold front that went through

@HazySue We have birds year around as they know my brother-in-law keeps the bird feeders full with occasional stale bread thrown out.

I have decided not to go to Saturday evening Mass tonight. I think God would understand. I just want some time to get caught up. I have laundry to do, a kitchen to clean up, my bedroom and office need organizing, etc.
