How often should you clean your fridge

Tuesday is our groceries day.
While Mike is shopping ,some reason I decided to clean the fridge.
It has been awhile.
The fridge was partially empty .
i am ashamed to say that it was not very clean.
This is one thing that do not think about.
Spend about an hour or so and worn out.Did not help my back any.
This will be the last time.

I am going to clean once a week.
the fridge now looks news.I done a nice job.But it was work.
every day I will swipe and protect daily.
Once a month deep clean seasonally.
glad that it was partially empty.Easy to work

Once a month is about right. One does clean spots in between.

I do mine about once a month too, but clean up anything that may spill. I have removed everything and I did not put all of it back.

@andriaperry yes the nooks and granny are what you have to clean.That is where the dirt accumulate.

used to all the time keep clean. important health wise. daughter though don't feel like it and works too much at her job so probably desperately needs it but not much choice right now.

You need a raise, I hate cleaning fridges. So much work. Have to move all the food out,no fun, but has to be done.

@amadeo I think that it depends on the layout of the fridge. Some are easy to clean just a section of them at a time and if you do that every night then you are always ahead of the game. My last fridge was like that. But this one has a different layout, and its not as nice for cleaning.

I think cleaning the fridge once a month is okay by me. Sometimes people have no time to even clean the fridge. it is even more helpful when it is completely empty.

I understand that completely. I have been trying to put every thing in little plastic trays on the shelf to help keep it cleaner and more organized. I think you have a good plan.

Good Job!! Once a fridge gets dirty it is very difficult to clean!! I'm emptying old stuff from my fridge and doing a little work each day!! And Please enjoy me while I'm here!! There is going to be a big snow coming our way and you wont see me for a couple of days!!!

@amadeo yes, true and we can avoid damage on it. Especially if we put meat on it
