HELP!! what would you do???

we just moved to arizona. yesterday my brother in law got fired from his job because he had a relationship with the boss's daughter and it ended last week. so when he went to work yesterday he was fired..and threatened. my husband works for the same company. the boss's wife told my husband to stay out of it if he wants to keep his job..so he did. BUT today i was up checking the mail and the boss's wife approached me saying she is gonna talk to our lanlord. I said so you are going to have me and my 1 yr old baby thrown out on the streets. she just said no im going to throw your brother in law out. i have never met this lady yet she has the nerve to sit there and threaten me and my family. call me a liar. Is this right? she said my brother in law is messing with the wrong people. but he dropped it...took it like a man..and is just trying to move on. Yet his boss's wife just keeps it going. What should i do?
