welcome rain

So after how many days of unbearable heat we finally have some rain. I can't describe how soothing it is to hear the rain fall towards this thirsty ground. The lightning and thunder reminds me of my dear granny who use yo tell me as a child the thunder is the angled up in heaven moving the furniture around. How I miss the simpler days of my childhood. This is welcome weather both for nature and my soul.
